Children Courses

We provide beginner classes for children generally from the age of 3 and upwards. Classes are scheduled to suit their school commitments, either early in the morning before school or in the early evening. Tuition is provided at a pace that suits each child’s ability. Once core areas are covered, all children progress onto Quran recitation. Mashallah, some of our students are on their way to becoming Hafiz.

Basic Cource

Unless the children have previous knowledge, all new starters cover core areas including:

Arabic alphabet and proper pronunciation of each letter
Vowels
How letters are joined to form words
Basic Tajweed rules

Students then progress to intermediate and advanced Tajweed rules and word formation. Once these are mastered, all children move on to Quran lessons. During these lessons, they listen to the tutor’s recitation sentence by sentence and repeat the verses back. This method helps students see how Tajweed rules are applied in each verse and learn the correct pronunciation.

Surah Memorization

We help all students memorise a number of Surahs which can be recited during daily prayer. Our memorization program is designed to ensure that students not only memorize the Surahs but also understand their meanings and applications. Here’s what our Surah memorization program includes:

Interactive Learning Strategies: To make memorisation simpler and more interesting for pupils, we use a variety of interactive strategies, including visual aids, mnemonic devices, and repetition.
In order to boost their confidence and reciting abilities, students take part in group recitations.
Understanding the Meaning: We place a strong emphasis on comprehending the meaning of each Surah in addition to memorisation. This enables students to apply the lessons in their everyday life and establish a deeper connection with the Scriptures.
To improve understanding, tutors clarify the Surahs’ background and meaning.
Application in Daily Prayers: To ensure that they can recite the memorised Surahs with confidence and fluency, students are instructed on how to include them in their daily prayers.
To reinforce this knowledge, practice sessions are held on a regular basis.
All-inclusive Support: We offer continuous assistance to address any queries on Wudu, daily prayers, or any other facet of Islamic practice.
Students can receive tutoring on appropriate prayer methods, manners, and the value of praying on a daily basis.
