Children Courses

We provide beginner classes for children generally from the age of 3 and upwards. Classes are scheduled to suit their school commitments, either early in the morning before school or in the early evening. Tuition is provided at a pace that suits each child’s ability. Once core areas are covered, all children progress onto Quran recitation. Mashallah, some of our students are on their way to becoming Hafiz.

Basic Cource

Unless the children have previous knowledge, all new starters cover core areas including:

Arabic alphabet and proper pronunciation of each letter
Vowels
How letters are joined to form words
Basic Tajweed rules

Students then progress to intermediate and advanced Tajweed rules and word formation. Once these are mastered, all children move on to Quran lessons. During these lessons, they listen to the tutor’s recitation sentence by sentence and repeat the verses back. This method helps students see how Tajweed rules are applied in each verse and learn the correct pronunciation.

Surah Memorization

We help all students memorize a number of Surahs which can be recited during daily prayer. Our memorization program is designed to ensure that students not only memorize the Surahs but also understand their meanings and applications. Here’s what our Surah memorization program includes:

Personalized Memorization Plans:
- Each student receives a customized memorization plan tailored to their learning pace and capabilities.
- Regular assessments help track progress and make necessary adjustments to the plan.
Interactive Learning Techniques:
- We employ various interactive methods such as repetition, visual aids, and mnemonic devices to make memorization easier and more engaging for students.
- Students participate in group recitations to build confidence and improve their recitation skills.
Understanding the Meaning:
- Alongside memorization, we emphasize understanding the meaning of each Surah. This helps students connect with the verses on a deeper level and apply the teachings in their daily lives.
- Tutors explain the context and significance of the Surahs to enhance comprehension.
Application in Daily Prayers:
- Students are taught how to incorporate the memorized Surahs into their daily prayers, ensuring they can recite them fluently and confidently.

- We provide ongoing support to answer any questions related to daily prayers, Wudu, or any other aspects of Islamic practice.
